WhatsApp update brings account creation on the iPad | Infinium-tech
WhatsApp is bringing four new features to its users, including a big update specifically for iPad users.
Now, you can create a WhatsApp account directly on iPad without linking it to a phone. You can register directly on the iPad, set up an account, and start using it without a phone. This should lead to a big improvement in the app’s usability on the iPad since it debuted last year.

WhatsApp has also updated the experience in your car. Now, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto users can listen to and respond to messages, take calls, view their call history and access their favorites right from the car screen.
PDF functionality has also been improved; Now, PDF files can be opened directly in the WhatsApp app without downloading them first. You can also do basic editing like highlighting things and annotating them.
Finally, you can also share the music they are listening to as your WhatsApp status. If you’re an Apple Music or Spotify user, you can share your currently playing track to your status through their respective share screens.
These features are currently being rolled out to all users.
