Xiaomi 18 Pro will get a global launch, new rumor claims | Infinium-tech
Last year, the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max were launched in China and were never made outside the company’s home country. However, according to a new report, the situation is changing this year.
The Xiaomi 18 Pro will at least reportedly be released in markets like Europe, Turkey, Russia, Taiwan, and Japan. A separate report a few days ago claimed that Xiaomi 18 Pro will also launch in India along with Xiaomi 18 Pro Max.
Xiaomi 17 Pro
Today’s rumor says that the Xiaomi 18 Pro will not be coming to India, so the situation is still quite confusing. Today’s report doesn’t mention the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max at all, so we’re not sure what will happen with that.
Anyway, according to previous rumors, the Xiaomi 18 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro SoC, and it will have two 200MP SmartSense camera sensors with a size of 1/1.28-inch on the main camera. It will also have upgraded speakers, a larger vibration motor, and a battery with a capacity of at least 7,000 mAh, which will support 100W wired as well as wireless charging.
