Google Pixel Watch 5 pops up in an official Google app ahead of expected launch | Infinium-tech
Google will unveil the Pixel 11 series of smartphones on August 12 and the company is expected to also introduce the Pixel Watch 5 along with them. We haven’t heard anything about the Pixel Watch 5 from Google yet, but the smartwatch has arrived in the official Google app, which should serve as another indicator that Google will unveil it on August 12.
The Pixel Watch 5 has appeared in the Google Health app as a wearable device to which the user can connect the device. It’s right at the top of the list, and selecting it opens a dedicated setup page, followed by a screen that asks if users want to connect the Watch 5 to Google Health.

The screenshots of the Google Health app below don’t show anything new, as the placeholder image Google used for the Pixel Watch 5 is the same one as for the Pixel Watch 4. Now we’re not saying that the two smartwatches look completely different, as leaked renders of the Pixel Watch 5 have revealed that it looks almost identical to the Pixel Watch 4.

Additionally, the Google Play Console listing revealed that the Pixel Watch 5, codenamed “godric”, uses the same base chip as the Pixel Watch 2, 3, and 4, but has more RAM onboard (3GB vs. 2GB).
The 41mm Wi-Fi model of the Google Pixel Watch 5 is rumored to be priced at €419, while the LTE model is rumored to be priced at €519. The 45mm Wi-Fi and LTE versions are said to be priced at €449 and €549 respectively.
