Samsung Galaxy S27 and S27+ could get a new main camera | Infinium-tech
The Samsung Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+ are now said to be in testing with a new 50MP main camera using a Sony sensor. This is notable because Samsung makes the camera sensors itself, and apparently loves using them in its phones. Testing a new sensor early in the development cycle does not guarantee that it will actually be used, but it is an interesting development nonetheless.
The S27 and S27+ are expected to use the same 12MP ultrawide camera as the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+. On the other hand, the S27 Pro and S27 Ultra will apparently get a new 50MP ultrawide and a new selfie camera. The Galaxy S27 family with its four members is likely to be unveiled in early 2027.
