Honor Power3 may have aimed too high with its battery capacity | Infinium-tech
Honor launched the Power2 in January, and then, in May, we heard that the upcoming Power3 will have a battery capacity of 11,000 to 12,000 mAh, while the exact number has not been decided yet. Unfortunately, today a new rumor from the same source is back to dash our hopes.
According to Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Honor Power3 will have a battery of at least 10,000 mAh. The Power2 has a 10,080 mAh battery, so its successor can match or even slightly surpass it. But it seems that the goal of reaching 11,000 mAh or even 12,000 mAh may have been too optimistic.

The device’s screen has apparently grown from its predecessor’s 6.79-inch panel to 7″ diagonally. It will surprisingly be a flat display, and the Power3 will be powered by the same MediaTek Dimensity 8-series chipset as the Power2, which employs the Dimensity 8500 Elite. Whether the Power3 will go with the same SoC or come with the theoretical upcoming Dimensity 8600 remains to be seen.
