Samsung starts seeding stable One UI 8.5 to Galaxy S, Fold, Flip and Tab series globally | Infinium-tech
Today, after a pilot run in South Korea, Samsung officially released its stable One UI 8.5 update globally. The Galaxy S25 series is not the only series to get the new software. Owners of Galaxy S24 and S23 devices (including the Fan Edition series) should also expect the update in the coming days.

Samsung is also ready with One UI 8.5 for the Galaxy Z Flip7, Z Fold7, Z Flip6, Z Fold6 and the Galaxy Tab S10 and S11 series. Some Galaxy A models are also expected to get One UI 8.5 these days, but it will take a little longer for Samsung to deliver it.
Don’t be fooled by incremental numerical changes. One UI 8.5 brings some improvements and new features, including a minor UI design refresh.
Of course, the main efforts are towards Galaxy AI – more powerful image editing and generation tools, smarter Bixby, deeper integration with Perplexity AI, new camera features like document scan, log video preview in real-time and dual video recording using selfies and a back camera simultaneously.
There are also some other improvements in Samsung Health, Quick Share, connectivity and better power saving.
