iPhone 18 Pro Max’s exact battery capacity leaks | Infinium-tech
We’ve already heard previous rumors that the iPhone 18 Pro Max will have the largest battery ever seen in a non-folding iPhone. Now a new leak purports to tell us the exact numbers.
And we say numbers because there will be two of them. Like last year, the version of the phone that will be eSIM-only will have a larger battery – in this case 5,425 mAh – than the version with a physical SIM slot. It will have a 5,235 mAh battery.

Of course, if it’s accurate, and that’s a big deal. What’s interesting is that iPhones have never been known for their battery size, but if it comes down to it, the iPhone 18 Pro Max will have a bigger battery than the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra’s 5,000 mAh cell.
For reference, note that the iPhone 17 Pro Max with a physical SIM slot has a 4,823 mAh battery, while the eSIM-only version has a 5,088 mAh battery. So we’re looking at a massive increase of 412 mAh for the model with a physical SIM compared to its predecessor, and an additional 337 mAh for the eSIM-only version of the iPhone 18 Pro Max.
