vivo starts teasing the global Y500, reveals its battery capacity and screen resolution | Infinium-tech
Vivo launched the Y500 in China last September, and now a separate Y500 family is set to become available in other markets, consisting of three members. One of them is the Y500 which Vivo has just started teasing in Nepal.
The phone looks nothing like the Chinese Y500. It is teased to feature a “1.5K” resolution AMOLED screen and an 8,100 mAh battery. Vivo describes it as having a “trendy camera design” on board as well as an “ultra fast and powerful” SoC, which unfortunately has not been officially revealed yet.

However, a recent Google Play Console listing tells us that it is the Unisoc T7300, paired with 8GB of RAM. Surprisingly the Y500 will run on Android 16 with ColorOS 6. More details will undoubtedly be revealed soon, so stay tuned.
