vivo, Oppo, and Honor reportedly working on wide foldables | Infinium-tech
It appears that more Android smartphone manufacturers are preparing to enter the wide-screen foldable segment. While Samsung is rumored to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold8 Wide later this year, new leaks suggest Vivo, Oppo, and Honor are also developing wide foldables of their own.
Tipster Smart Pikachu shared fresh details about the upcoming Vivo X Fold6, and also teased Vivo’s future foldable plans.
According to the tipster, the X Fold6 is expected to have a less noticeable display crease. The tipster further claims that Vivo’s upcoming foldable device will adopt a wider display design.
In a separate post, the same source revealed that Oppo is also testing an elaborate foldable smartphone, which is currently under evaluation.
Meanwhile, another tipster claims that Honor has been working on an extended foldable for quite some time and is expected to unveil it in the near future.
