Vivo is expected to unveil the Vivo X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max in China later this year, possibly around September. Ahead of the rumored launch, new information about the base X500 rear camera setup has now surfaced online.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Vivo X500 will ditch the 200MP primary camera found in its predecessor Vivo X300. Instead, the upcoming flagship is likely to feature a 50MP Sony sensor measuring 1/1.28 inches.

The handset is also tipped to feature a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 64MP periscope telephoto unit, using a 1/2.0-inch Sony sensor with a 70mm focal length.
Previous leaks suggest that the Vivo X500 will feature a 6.37-inch display, a 7,500mAh battery, and a MediaTek Dimensity 9500-series chipset.
The X500 lineup is also rumored to include an X500e model, which could launch alongside the flagship X500 Ultra early next year.
