The new Yaber K3 smart projector beams a bright 1,600 lumen picture, has dual 15W JBL speakers | Infinium-tech

Yaber introduced the K3 series of home theater projectors at IFA and these are the brightest projectors the company has ever made. They are based on last year’s successful K2s model.

The Yaber K3 is an LED projector that can reach up to 1,600 ANSI lumens. It beams 1080p images that range in size from 40” to 200” (the projector has a throw ratio of 1.2:1).

The new NovaGlow optical technology promises a sharp, vivid image. Extra brightness comes with extra heat, so Yabber created the CoolSwift cooler to manage that heat. It’s a combination of a U-shaped heat sink and dual thermoelectric coolers. Yabber will announce more details about NovaGlow and CoolSwift soon.

The projector has smart features that automatically create the best image in any room: Auto Focus, Auto Keystone Correction, Intelligent Screen Alignment and Obstacle Avoidance.

The K3 runs Android with Google TV, so you have access to 7,000+ apps, including streaming services like YouTube, Netflix, Disney+. Additionally, there’s NFC, so you can start casting local content by simply tapping your phone to the projector. Wi-Fi 6(X) and Bluetooth 5.0 are available for local connections. Voice commands are available if you don’t feel like reaching for the remote.

The Yabber K3 features dual 15W JBL speakers (800cc) and Dolby Atmos. Apart from the vanilla model, there is also the Yabber K3 Pro, which includes a woofer for extra bass. That’s the only difference between the two (okay, not exactly).

The Yaber K3 will be sold exclusively online, while the K3 Pro will be sold exclusively in physical stores, so that’s another difference. The K3 costs €600 or, if you want the woofer, the K3 Pro costs €650.

In addition, the company also introduced the cheaper and more compact Yabr L2s. It still projects 1080p images, although at a lower 700 lumens. Among the more advanced features, auto focus is supported. This projector has dual 8W JBL speakers and runs quietly (35dB). The Yabr L2s costs just €240.
