Samsung Galaxy A06 launches with Helio G85 SoC, 5,000 mAh battery | Infinium-tech

Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy A06 in Vietnam today. Undoubtedly, the phone will arrive in more markets in the coming days and weeks.

The Galaxy A06 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, paired with either 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. In both cases you also get a microSD card slot.

The phone has a 50 MP main rear camera and a 6.7-inch HD+ touchscreen with a 90 Hz refresh rate. The battery capacity is 5,000 mAh, and it supports 25W fast wired charging.

Samsung has emphasized the flat back of the phone with vertical stripes. This combo is meant to effectively prevent fingerprints, and it looks good too. The A06 has a fingerprint sensor built into the power button.

The company has promised that the A06 will receive two major Android updates, so it will reach Android 16. In Vietnam, the Galaxy A06 will go on sale on August 22 for VND 3,190,000 ($127 or €115) in a 4/64GB variant or VND 3,790,000 ($151 or €137) in a 6/128GB variant. Until September 30, customers will receive a free 25W charger, as it will not be found inside the box.
