The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to launch in late February 2026. Recent reports have indicated that the flagship may skip major camera upgrades this year and now a new leak appears to support those claims.
According to a tipster, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to retain the same camera hardware as the Galaxy S25 Ultra, with the only change being the replacement of the 10MP telephoto sensor.

The 3x telephoto camera is said to use the new 12MP Samsung S5K3LD sensor. Notably, the tipster also revealed that the phone will offer a new APV video codec option.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra
The Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature a 200MP Samsung HP2 main rear camera, a 50MP JN3 ultrawide unit, and a 50MP Sony IMX854 periscope telephoto setup with 5x optical zoom. According to the tipster, the phone will use a 12MP Sony IMX874 sensor for selfies.
