Samsung Galaxy M05 gets one step closer to launch | Infinium-tech
Samsung is working on the Galaxy M05, which was first revealed alongside the F05 in July. Now, the M05 support page has gone live on the Samsung India website. This means the official launch is set to take place in just a few weeks.
Unfortunately, the listing on the support page doesn’t reveal any specifications of the handset, only its model number is SM-M055F/DS. The M05 was also recently certified by BIS for sale in India.
The Galaxy M05 will be the successor to the Galaxy M04 from 2022, and like that model it will sit at the lowest tier in Samsung’s portfolio. To get an idea of just how low-tier we’re talking about, keep in mind that the M04 has a 6.5-inch 720×1600 60Hz LCD touchscreen, MediaTek Helio P35 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64/128GB of storage, a 13 MP main camera with a 2 MP depth sensor next to it, a 5 MP selfie snapper, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W wired charging.
