Nothing Phone (3) will have 7 years of software support | Infinium-tech
Tomorrow, nothing is confirmed by Snapdragon 8S General 4 as a SOC of choice for anything next to the upcoming phone (3).
Company co-founder Akis evezelidis GPU praised the performance of the chip citing 88% improvement in speed, 33% faster CPU, and 125% improvement in NPU speed compared to the phone (2).
Today, he also confirmed the software support details. Asked why the company did not choose another SOC, Evengelidis stated that the new chip would clean the path for better software support – “5 and 7” instead of “4 and 4”.

The 8 General 3 has a weak GPU, NPU, connectivity and ISP – and default software support is 4 and 4. There will be 5 and 7 in the phone (3).

This is a large upgrade in 3 years of Android update and a 4 -year security patch has received nothing (2).
Nothing phone (3) is coming in July.
