Gurman: iPhone Fold on track for September launch | Infinium-tech
A recent report claims that Apple’s foldable iPhone faced problems during its engineering testing phase, potentially delaying its launch by several months beyond the September window. However, a new report refutes that claim, suggesting that Apple is on track to unveil the iPhone Fold in September.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has dismissed recent claims of delays, saying development is on track. Citing people with knowledge of the matter, Gurman said the foldable iPhone will be unveiled alongside the iPhone 18 Pro.

According to Gurman, the foldable iPhone is expected to go on sale with or shortly after the iPhone 18 Pro models.
However, initial supplies may be limited due to the complexity of manufacturing the foldable display and other components like the rumored 3D printed hinge. Gurman also noted that the final launch timeline could still change, as the release is still several months away and production ‘hasn’t yet ramped up’.
