The Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro will be announced at an event in India today. The launch party will start at 12pm IST, which is 06:30 UTC or 09:30 EEST, and there will also be a live stream to watch the unveiling.
The phones share a new design of the camera island with the Vivo S19 and Vivo S19 Pro, but we know that both the V40 and V40 Pro will have shooters that are co-developed with ZEISS.
The company also confirmed a new 5,500mAh battery, which is a big upgrade over the Vivo V30 lineup. We’re wondering if Vivo was able to develop other meaningful hardware updates in the past six months; we’ll be following the event closely and reporting back once everything is official.
