vivo S20 appears in official images, Pro version will have Dimensity 9300+ | Infinium-tech
The Vivo S20 series is coming, and today, we got our first look at the phones. The design of the Vivo S20 and Vivo S20 Pro was revealed by Jia Jingdong, Vivo’s vice president and GM of brand and product strategy for all phones in China.
The design language of the cameras is similar to that of the Vivo S19 lineup, but here we can see that the S20 Pro is going for a periscope lens for its telephoto camera. It will run on the Dimensity 9300+ and both devices will feature a BOE Q10 OLED screen.
The phone was showcased by Chinese tennis player and 2024 Olympics gold medalist Qianwen Zheng in Paris. The equipment in his hands is shown in his hero colors, which, according to Jia, were created to mimic “the texture of gold silk and phoenix feathers”.
The images also reveal that while the Pro has three cameras, the vanilla S20 will have two. The good thing is that both will have Aura Light Ring LED for good portrait shots.
The S20 series is exclusive to China, but Vivo often relaunches the devices internationally as the V lineup. That said, looking at these phones, we know what to expect from the Vivo V50.
