Samsung starts showing a list of satellite-ready apps | Infinium-tech
According to a tipster over at X, who shared the screenshot that you can see below, Samsung phones now have a list of “satellite-ready” apps. This can reportedly be accessed by going to Settings > Connections > Satellite Networks.
It will then show a list of “satellite-ready” apps among your installed apps. So this is not an exhaustive list of every app out there that can use satellite connectivity, this is just a subset of the apps you have installed at any given time.

Before you go ahead and celebrate the fact that you can use Google Maps when you only have satellite connectivity, note that which features (or even apps) work through satellites depends on your service.
T-Mobile’s T-Satellite basically works like a normal carrier data connection, except you connect to satellites, but other carriers like Verizon offer a much more restricted, emergency SOS and texting service only. So Samsung’s list is best case scenario, no guarantees.
