The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 bends but does not break in tough durability test | Infinium-tech
Galaxy Z Fold 7 passed, now it is to pass the Galaxy Z Flip 7. Jerrigeverything’s durability test. Last year, Z Flip6 survived the dreaded bend test, can the 2025 model repeat that achievement despite being thin?
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 goes through hard durability tests
First things first, scratch test. There is no surprise here – Z Flip7 uses Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for new and better cover displays and back panels. It sees light scratches at a level 6 and deep grooves at a level 7. As a reminder, now we list the Mohan hardness of the glass performing in our glasses.
Internal performance, regret, relatively soft things also scratches easily. Some may be difficult to oppose the scratch or it can be soft enough to bend – if there is any other option, engineers have not yet found it.

Like last year, Samsung Galaxy Z advertises an IP48 rating for Flip 7 – this means that it is water resistant and has protection from large particles (about 1 mm in size). The dust and sand have a mixture of different -sized particles and some are found in the hinge – but the phone works well, despite something about the noise from some kaj.
Finally, turning test. Samsung may have dropped the Z Flip7 down, but it survived the efforts to incorrectly turn Zach’s efforts. You have to be careful with the internal screen, but in addition, Z foldables can live through some thick handling. If you want to know more about the phone then see our Galaxy Z Flip7 review.
