Introduction and Specifications

The Tecno Phantom V Fold2 is a direct successor to the original Phantom V Fold, although it arrives almost half a year later than anticipated. This is probably one of the most affordable foldables on the market.

It’s great to see these foldable devices becoming more affordable, making it possible for more users to experience this cutting-edge technology.

One could argue that the Tecno Phantom V Fold2 is a mild refresh compared to its predecessor, at least looking at the key specifications. However, there are some notable improvements worth considering.

For example, the battery capacity is now 5,750 mAh and it supports fast 70W wired charging. The handset also adopts wireless charging and starts at 12GB/512GB of memory by default.

The handset also has a new look with a vegan leather back and a thinner, more lightweight design. Congratulations on packing a big battery despite the reduction in size and weight.

Last but not least, some attention is paid to the camera department and the 13MP ultrawide shooter is replaced with a 50MP one and the selfie camera is replaced with a 32MP one.
