Spotify’s new Prompted Playlist feature lets you control the algorithm | Infinium-tech
Spotify has introduced a new personalization feature called Prompted Playlists, which gives users more control over the algorithm to create more in-depth curated playlists.
The Prompted Playlist feature lets users describe what they want to hear via a simple text prompt, and even set custom rules such as how often or when the playlist should be updated.

Spotify then uses the user’s entire listening history to create truly personalized playlists. For each song recommendation, users will also get context and details as to why it was chosen.
The feature also offers pre-set prompts that will create personalized playlists at Home. As of now, the Prompted Playlist feature is in beta, only available to Premium users in New Zealand, and only supports English. It is expected to be implemented in more areas next year.
