Samsung’s very rheumated tri-folded smartphones did not make a presence in their unpacked events yesterday, despite many of its past rumors claiming. So you must be wondering if it is still coming.

The answer is a great yes according to Samsung Electronics President TM ROH. He also revealed that the company’s objective is a three-fold device on the market by the end of this year.

For naming, Roh says that Samsung has not yet decided – so it can finally be called Galaxy G folds like some rumors said, or something completely different. Samsung will decide on this close to its release. Right now, ROH says that the company is focusing on “the product and its purpose”.

According to previous rumors, Samsung’s first tri-folded smartphone, unlike the Huawei Met XT, will be folded inward. This means that Samsung’s device will have two screens – folding one and a cover display. It should be a more expensive setup, but the advantage is that the folding screen is not exposed when bend, which is the main negative side for Huawei’s setup.

Of course, we should expect a tried-folded device that it was already much more expensive than the Galaxy Z fold 7, unveiling with a price increase compared to its predecessor yesterday.
