Samsung Galaxy Watch4 and Watch4 Classic now receiving One UI 8 Watch | Infinium-tech
The Samsung Galaxy Watch4 and Watch4 Classic were originally scheduled for 4 years of OS updates – and considering they launched in August 2021, that period has technically ended. However, the pair of watches are now getting Samsung’s One UI 8 watch, which is based on Wear OS 6.
The update is currently rolling out to Wi-Fi watches in South Korea. The firmware version ends in “JYK4”. This is a pretty hefty download, over a gigabyte.
One UI 8 Watch comes to Galaxy Watch4 and Watch4 Classic
You may want to wait as the gradual rollout will take some time to reach all markets. If you have an LTE watch, you’ll likely have to wait even longer.
Previously, Samsung released One UI 8 for the Galaxy Watch FE, a 2024 model, which is based on the 40mm Watch4.
