Samsung Galaxy S25 will have 12GB of RAM | Infinium-tech
Samsung’s Galaxy S25 family is arriving in January, although there’s still some confusion as to whether it’ll arrive in early or late January. Still, we’re getting closer to the official unveiling, and now a benchmark run has revealed the fact that the base model will have 12GB of RAM. That’s a nice step up from the 8GB of the entry-level S24, though there was also a 12GB iteration of that.
We’re expecting the S25 to lose the 8GB tier altogether, but we’ll never be 100% sure until the actual announcement, so keep that in mind.

The Galaxy S25 models will either go with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset or not – aside from the exact launch date, that’s the other big mystery surrounding Samsung’s next flagship devices. We’ve been hearing both versions for quite some time, so it’s still up in the air.
For what it’s worth, the benchmark prototype used Qualcomm’s chip, but note that this model is headed to the Korean market. It also apparently runs Android 15.
In terms of design, the Galaxy S25 is expected to remain similar to its predecessor based on the leaked renders that you can see above.
