Nothing Phone (3) hands-on – GSMArena.com news | Infinium-tech
Nothing is a new flagship phone – Nothing calls the phone (3) namaste. Freshly announced phone (3) comes after about two years of phone (2), and there are many different factors between the two.
Let’s start with the back, as it has always been an important area on the equipment. The phone (3) brings a polarization look to say at least. Nothing went with a three-colum grid look with an off-centered periscope zoom camera sticking out on the top-right corner. It is different from what we have seen on previous devices from the brand and it definitely stands out of the crowd of contestants.
Nothing phone (3) and its glyph matrix
This year the big joint is glyph matrix. Signature Nothing The phone Gliff Interface has now shrunk to a monochrome display made of 489 LEDs.
This only does more than information because you can assign custom images, animations and app-specific messages. There is even a pair of sports – spin the bottle, rock paper scissors and magic 8 balls. Nothing is releasing our developer SDK today, so we will see even more clever ideas here.
There is a dedicated glyph button – a capacitive circle located below the gliff matrix. It gives a vibration and allows you to scroll through various mode and features.
Moving forward, nothing brought the camera to four 50mp shooters. The rear is 1/1.3 “a 3x periscope zoom module and a 1/1.3” main sensor with OIS with a 114 the ultravide lens. You also get a 50MP selfie cam.
The front has a 6.67-inch AMOLED- Domination of the same size (2), but with slimmer bezels. It has been advertised to reach 4,500 Nits of Peak Local Brightness and has an FHD+ resolution as well as an adaptive 30–120Hz refresh rate.
Hardware seems to be familiar with the phone. The frame is made of aluminum, the back has corning gorilla glass Victus, while the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7I. Apart from this, there is a remarkable IP68 ingres protection, which is the first for any phone.
Some quick words on software. We are not running OS 3.5 on the basis of Android 15. It is as smooth and minimal looking as usual, and nothing will be confirmed that we will not see anything later in this quarter.
Snapdragon 8S General 4 chipset and 5,150 mAh silicone carbon battery are qualified upgrade on the phone (2) and should provide enough performance and hopes that they should provide better endurance. As usual, we will bring a detailed review with all your tests, when we return to our review unit back to the headquarters.
