Samsung announces One UI 8.5 beta program | Infinium-tech
Samsung has officially launched its One UI 8.5 beta program, and it brings a number of new features that enhance productivity, privacy, and performance. Photo Assist now allows unlimited image creation while supporting continuous editing and edit history.
Quick Share gets facial recognition and can suggest photos to share with people who are in them. Samsung is also updating its cross-device sharing with updated audio broadcast and storage share.
Audio Broadcast allows users to share audio with nearby Bluetooth LE audio devices using Auracast. The feature also supports sound transmission through your phone’s microphone, which Samsung is advertising as ideal for guided tours and events.
Storage Share allows you to view files from other Galaxy devices such as tablets, PCs and TVs through the My Files app.
Samsung is also doubling down on device security through theft protection and fail authentication lock.
One UI 8.5 beta will be available for the Galaxy S25 series in Germany, India, Korea, Poland, UK, and US starting today. As always, users will need to apply for the beta program through the Samsung Members app.
