Rough sketch of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 surfaces, suggests a design change | Infinium-tech
Hidden deep in one of the early leaked One UI 8.5 builds, Android Authority A reference to the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 was spotted. Interestingly, this reference comes in the form of an icon.
The initial One UI 8.5 build includes icons for Samsung’s smart wearables, including the still-unreleased Galaxy Buds 4. The icon below was found with the file name “list_ic_earbuds_buds4”, so it’s safe to assume that these are indeed the Buds 4.
And even though this appears to be a rough sketch of the Galaxy Buds 4, it suggests changes to the design. Just look for the icon of the Buds 3 in the same firmware. Obviously there is a difference in design.
Since Samsung has started referencing the Buds 4 in its software builds, the launch of the Buds 4 series is likely imminent. After all, the Buds 3 series arrived in July last year, so it’s late to upgrade the earbuds. Still, information about the Galaxy Buds 4 and 4 Pro is quite scarce, so we may not be as close to release as we initially thought.
