Redmi Note 15 5G in for review | Infinium-tech
This is Redmi Note 15 5G. It sits just above the Redmi Note 15 (4G) and below the three Pro models in the lineup.
It comes with a 45W charger, USB-A to USB-C cable, and a case. You can get one in a variety of RAM and memory combinations – 6/128GB, 8/256GB, 8/512GB, and 12/512GB.

Compared to the Redmi Note 15, the Note 15 5G is more durable with an IP66 rating for dust and water resistance, compared to IP64 on the 4G model. Redmi Note 15 5G is quite thin and weighs less. This is because it has a smaller 5,520mAh battery, which is the smallest in the series. The 4G model packs a 6,000mAh unit. Charging is also different – 45W on the 5G model, 33W on 4G.

The cameras are also different – both have a 108MP main camera, but the Redmi Note 15 5G has an 8MP ultrawide, while the 4G model only has a 2MP depth-sensing camera.

The screen on the Redmi Note 15 5G is good. It’s 6.77 inches large and gets quite bright at up to 3,200 nits. It also refreshes up to 120Hz with a touch sampling rate of 240Hz for a lag-free experience.

Redmi Note 15 5G feels good in hands. Its edges are curved on both the front and back, making it feel slim when you handle it. Some people prefer a flatter aesthetic on the latest phones, but some of us here at HQ still enjoy curvy phones.

Redmi Note 15 5G will be offered in Glacier Blue, Mist Purple and Black colors. Pricing starts at €279/£199 for the 6/128GB trim. Pre-orders are expected to begin on January 5.
