Opera Neon agentic AI browser finally becomes available to everyone, but there’s a catch | Infinium-tech
Today, Opera has announced that it is opening public access to Opera Neon, its experimental browser for AI power users “who want to access and get the most out of the latest AI technologies as they emerge”.
Neon is available in a closed “Founders” phase starting October 2nd – think of it like a closed beta. We’re now in open beta, and anyone can join in – on Windows and Mac.

Neon is described by its creator as “an agentic browser”. It uses AI agents to perform tasks and even code web apps instead of just displaying web pages. It also gives you access to Gemini 3 Pro and GPT 5.1.
However, all this will cost you $19.90 per month. However, it’s still cheaper than subscribing to both ChatGPT and Gemini, and you get access to both.
