OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra shown off in new Metal Storm color | Infinium-tech

OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra will be unveiled on April 28 (Tuesday next week). Last week, the company posted details on the Ace Awakening design, in which the word “Ace” is carved on the back of the device in a way that creates a 3D effect.

Now OnePlus has revealed another look of the Ace 6 Ultra which is called “Metal Storm”. It is a combination of a metal frame with matte finish and a glass back panel with “silk” texture. This texture is created by carving a nanoscale pattern that is soft to the touch but glows in the light. The company says that this will remove fingerprints.

As mentioned in the previous teaser, the phone is designed to remain comfortable during long gaming sessions. It has rounded corners that don’t dig into your palms and the metal frame is insulated from the heat generated by the Dimensity 9500 chipset.

OnePlus says it has a custom kernel that optimizes GPU rendering to help games hit 165fps – that’s the refresh rate of the screen. Additionally, the company will release a companion gaming controller that adds four physical buttons (with a 1.8ms response time). This controller also includes a cooling fan that turns on magnetically (but you can also use it without the fan).
