Poco M8 Power is on its way as a rebranded Redmi | Infinium-tech
Earlier today, Redmi unveiled the Note 17 and Note 17 Pro in China. The model number of the first one is 26021RN18C. Meanwhile, in the latest HyperOS firmware build, a reference to the Poco M8 Power has been found, and it has model number 26021PC18I.
Let’s open it. “RN” means Redmi, “PC” means Poco. The last letter in the model number indicates the region it is intended for – “C” is for China, “I” is for India. So, with all this in mind, it definitely looks like the Poco M8 Power is coming to India at least – of course it could be offered in other markets too, but it’s definitely coming to India.

Based on the model number, the Poco M8 Power is almost certainly going to be a rebranded Chinese Redmi Note 17. Whether this means the global and/or Indian Redmi Note 17 will have different specs compared to the Chinese one remains to be seen – it’s not above Xiaomi’s different sub-brands to market the same device under multiple names in the same market.
But Poco M8 Power should largely get the specifications of the Chinese Redmi Note 17. If it does, expect it to have a 7-inch 1080×2396 OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,800-nit peak brightness, a Snapdragon 4th Gen 4 SoC, 6/8GB RAM, 128/256GB storage, a 50MP main camera, 8MP selfie snapper, and more. camera, and an 8,000 mAh battery that supports 45W wired charging.
