OnePlus Ace 5 to bring Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 | Infinium-tech
OnePlus recently launched the Ace 3 Pro and is reportedly looking towards an Ace 5 series. According to leakster Digital Chat Station, the new phone will carry over a lot of the specs from the previous Ace, including a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and 100W wired charging.
One big change we expect to see is the arrival of a larger silicon-carbon battery. This will have two 3,000 mAh cells, which together will deliver a minimum charge of 6,000 mAh (possibly around 6,100 mAh typical).

OnePlus is skipping the number 4 in the Ace’s name due to superstition, so we’re going straight to 5. Sadly, that doesn’t mean we’ll see an upgrade twice – the new phone should feature a 6.78″ 8T LTPO OLED with 1240p resolution made by BOE. Wired charging is nothing new either and is a downgrade from the 150W rates on the Ace 2 Pro.
It is said that there will be three cameras on the back, the main one being a 50-megapixel sensor. The front panel will be slightly curved on all four sides. The leakster also revealed that the new Ace will have an alert slider.
The OnePlus Ace 5 should arrive before October because then we expect the OnePlus 13 to take away attention from the Ace with a new chipset and better specs.
