Motorola Moto G35 hands-on review | Infinium-tech
The new Moto G35 5G is the most affordable entry in this year’s Motorola G-series and comes with a decent spec sheet for just €199. We got a chance to spend some time with the device after it was announced and here are our first impressions.
Motorola has started a new chapter in its G-series design language with the G35 and G55. Both devices sport a sleek look with the camera island rising gradually from the back. The textured back on the green variant features vegan leather made from renewable materials including soy and bamboo. The black and red versions feature a polycarbonate back with a glossy finish that also offers great grip.
Motorola has provided a dual camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens.
The Moto G35 comes in three colour options – Guava Red, Midnight Black, and Leaf Green, which is the one we tested. The green colour is our personal favourite. The vegan leather helps with grip and is a good option if you want to go case-less.
Moving to the front, we have a large 6.72-inch LCD with FHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The panel has a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits and it houses a 16 MP front-facing camera.
The Moto G35 relies on the Unisoc T760 chipset and now comes with 128GB of base storage, while its predecessor model offered 64GB of storage.
The phone runs on Android 14 and comes with Motorola’s Halo UI interface. It has a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W charging. You also get a microSD card slot, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB-C port for charging and data transfer.
