Infinix Xpad is official with an 11″ display and LTE version | Infinium-tech
Infinix quietly launched its first tablet, called the Xpad. The device has an 11-inch screen, a mid-range Helio chipset and an LTE version.
The Infinix Xpad features the Helio G99 chipset with a 2.2GHz octa-core CPU. It is widely used by the Transsion brand, with nearly two dozen devices running the most powerful LTE-only chipset in the market.
Infinix has introduced the XArena Game Space with three different power modes, designed to allocate different power to the Arm-G57 MC2 GPU for gaming purposes.
The 11″ LCD has a 90Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels. It has fairly thin bezels, leading to a screen-to-body ratio of 83%. Infinix also revealed that the brightness is 440 nits.
The slate has a metal unibody and has a single camera on either side – both with an 8-megapixel sensor at the back.
This year is the year of AI, and Infinix has introduced its solution called Folax. It is a voice assistant powered by ChatGPT.
The Xpad is equipped with four speakers to enhance multimedia consumption.
The Infinix Xpad packs a 7,000mAh battery with 18W wired charging. The company revealed that the Xpad can be charged 50% in about 40 minutes.
The Infinix Xpad is available in three colours – blue, black and gold. It has 4GB or 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage. The company didn’t reveal what the exact memory combinations are. We also don’t have official pricing and availability details; those will be revealed on a market-by-market basis.
