Gurman: Apple to launch new iPhone SE in 2025 with no home button | Infinium-tech
Apple is working on a new iPhone SE and will launch the affordable device in early 2025. This information comes from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, who said that the two new iPad Air models are also coming with an updated version of the Magic Keyboard.
It’s time to say goodbye to the home button
The fourth iPhone SE will be based on the iPhone 14. This means Apple will remove the home button and add Face ID. The phone should feature one of the company’s latest chipsets, which means it could also get Apple Intelligence.
Plans for 2025 also include a revised Mac Mini, an updated MacBook Pro, and an iMac with the M4 chip. The platform will also reach the new MacBook Air, Mac Studio, and Mac Pro devices. However, the journalist said that we won’t see the new iPad Pro in 2025 because the current version is already “a generation ahead.”
