Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold retail unit gets unboxed, compared to the original Pixel Fold | Infinium-tech
While the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold isn’t shipping just yet, one lucky person has already got their hands on an Obsidian color unit, and thankfully unboxed it on Reddit for the world to see.
The crease looks a lot better than the original Pixel Fold when it comes out of the box, while still being very much present. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold also comes unfolded inside the box, while its previous model was folded.
Speaking of this, the same Reddit user has also posted an extensive photo shoot comparing the new Google foldable smartphone to the old Google foldable smartphone, placed next to each other. The different aspect ratio of the new device is very obvious, as is its larger size.

This change makes the Pixel 9 Pro Fold more like a normal foldable smartphone, and less unique than its predecessor. But there is also a positive aspect of this: there will be fewer problems with apps on the folding screen.
