Galaxy S26 series will deliver improved on-device AI | Infinium-tech
Samsung last week announced the Exynos 2600 as the world’s first 2nm chipset. It’s expected to make its debut in the Galaxy S26 series in the first quarter of 2026, and now we have some additional details regarding the 2600’s AI capabilities.

The new chip is equipped with a brand new NPU that is claimed to deliver a 113% improvement compared to the Exynos 2500, and now we get confirmation that it will also get a significant boost for on-device AI tasks. Korean AI firm NotaAI revealed that its AI model optimization technology will be used on the Exynos 2600 to run large AI models directly on the device.

NOTAAI netspresso The AI optimization platform allows for a substantial reduction in the size of AI models while providing accurate results. The company specializes in customizing device-tailored AI models, which will allow Samsung engineers to run larger AI models on the device without requiring internet access.

The two companies previously worked together on Exynos 2500 and 2400 AI optimizations and co-developed Samsung’s Exynos AI Studio toolchain.
