Galaxy S26 Edge with Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 spotted on Geekbench | Infinium-tech
While most of the recent Galaxy S26 Edge rumors are considering the battery capacity of the phone, a new Geekbench listing has confirmed its chipset. Samsung’s next slim and light tool will be equipped with Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2.
Appeared with the device SM-S947u Identification – possibly the American version of the phone and now we have our first benchmark for Qualcomm’s next flagship chip. Keep in mind that this is a pre-producing unit, so these scores will be higher on the final consumer version.
Galaxy S26 Edge (SM-S947U) Geekbench Listing
The upcoming flagship chipset will have an eight-core CPU feature, with 2x prime core @4.74 GHz and 6X performance core @3.63 GHz. These CPU frequencies are more than 4.32GHz of SD Elite and 3.53GHz. A report last month suggested that Qualcomm is testing SD Elite 2 with 4.6GHz CPU clock speed and 4.74 GHz for the Galaxy version for the regular version.
S26 Age scored 3,393 single-core and 11,515 multi-core scores. These scores are slightly higher than 3,131 and 9,391 outings of S25 Edge, representing 8% and 22% profit respectively.
The launch of Snapdragon Elite 2 next month has been confirmed.
