Exclusive: Meizu’s first international phones are here – Note 21 and Note 21 Pro | Infinium-tech

Earlier this year, Meizu had announced that it was focusing completely on AI and this would bring a change to its smartphone ambitions. Well, the Chinese smartphone maker has now announced its latest smartphones with the Note 21 and Note 21 Pro. Both phones are going international this time and will join the Meizu 21, which was announced in China earlier this year.

The Meizu Note 21 sports a 6.74-inch IPS LCD with FHD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and an 8MP front-facing camera. The Note 21 Pro gets a slightly larger 6.78-inch IPS LCD with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 13MP selfie shooter.

On the back, the Note 21 has a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth of field sensor, while the Note 21 Pro has a 64MP primary shooter and a 2MP depth helper.

The Note 21 has an unspecified octa-core chipset with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage while the Note 20 Pro has the Helio G99 chipset and the same RAM and storage. Both phones support storage expansion via their microSD card slots.

Despite Meizu’s focus on AI, there are no specific AI features mentioned on the official specs pages of either of the new phones. We haven’t found any information on the software either, but we guess that both phones will be powered by Meizu’s FlymeOS.

The Meizu Note 21 takes the lead in terms of battery capacity with its 6,000 mAh cell and 18W charging. The Note 21 Pro gets a smaller 4,950mAh battery and 30W charging.
