Samsung Galaxy S24 FE charging details won’t impress you | Infinium-tech

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 FE could launch as early as this month or in October, if we go by the most recent rumors on the matter. It was recently certified by the FCC, a process that revealed support for 9W reverse wireless charging.

Now, thanks to TUV certification, we know what to expect in terms of wired charging, and it’s not good news. The S24 FE will have a maximum power of 25W, which is the same as its predecessor from last year. So the FE model once again misses out on at least 45W, which is Samsung’s maximum right now. We assume that cost cutting has kicked in again.

The Galaxy S24 FE will have the Exynos 2400 chipset, but not the regular one. Instead, Samsung has opted for a downclocked version of the chip for some reason (to cut costs on cooling?). So, for example, it will clearly be a step down from the vanilla S24 in the FE.

Design-wise, it may be very difficult to differentiate the S24 FE and S23 FE, at least from the back. Of course, Samsung could make things easier by launching the S24 FE with new colors that its previous models did not have. Let’s see what happens.
