Amazfit Active Max leaks with large 576mAh battery | Infinium-tech
Amazfit, known for its well-built yet affordable smartwatches, has a new model in the works. The Amazfit Active Max sports a clean look from the Active series with a larger display with graduated bezels and a much larger battery.
As per the leaked specs shared by Roland Quandt, the Max packs a 576mAh battery. Also, it has a 1.5″ OLED display with a 480 x 480px resolution. For comparison, the Amazfit Active 2 has a 1.32″ 466 x 466px display and a relatively smaller 270mAh battery. Amazfit also has models with larger batteries, for example the recently released Balance 2 has a 658mAh battery, but it is an expensive model.
The Max Watch has a total of 4GB of storage, although some of this will be reserved for the system. This will leave room to listen to MP3s even without your phone. To be clear, this is not a Wear OS smartwatch, rather it runs a proprietary platform called Zepp OS.
The Max is reportedly equipped with GPS, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC connectivity and is rated for 50 meters of water resistance. According to one of the images, it will support official hierox Workout mode.
The Amazfit Active Max should cost €170 when officially unveiled. For comparison, the Active 2 starts at €130, while the Balance 2 (47mm, 1.5″, 658mAh) costs €300 and the T-Rex 3 Pro (48mm, 1.5″, 700mAh) costs €400. There is no information yet on when the Max will be made official.
