Huawei Chairman Richard Yu spotted using a tri-folding device | Infinium-tech
A few months ago we heard that Huawei is working on a tri-folding device. Huawei has not yet given any information about this, but the company’s former CEO Richard Yu has said that Huawei has a tri-folding device. Currently serving as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Huawei Consumer BGOne was seen being used.
The picture below shows three folding devices from Huawei on the left with a punch-hole in the middle for the selfie camera. The device also has two creases as it has two hinges while regular folding smartphones like the Huawei Mate X5, vivo X Fold3 Pro and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 have a single hinge.
Tipster Digital Chat Station Yu said that the device he was spotted with is similar to the R&D prototype he saw earlier. Its screen size is expected to be around 10 inches and the device is said to be powered by a Kirin 9-series chip.
