A folding screen replacement for the Galaxy Z TriFold will sting | Infinium-tech
Samsung’s Galaxy Z Trifold went on sale in Korea today, selling out quickly despite its hefty price tag (about $2,400 at the current exchange rate). Speaking of huge price points, we’ve just found out how much a replacement internal folding screen for the TriFold will cost.
In Korea, this repair will cost a minimum of KRW 1,657,500. That’s about $1,122, which officially makes it the most expensive Samsung smartphone screen replacement in history, but considering the type of display we’re talking about here, that’s not really surprising, right?

Luckily, Samsung is offering buyers a one-time 50% discount on screen repairs, and if anyone ever needed a half-off deal on a repair, it’s the guy who broke the TriFold’s folding screen, that’s for sure.
For the cover display you will only have to pay KRW 137,000 or about $92, which seems like nothing in comparison. That’s how complicated (and, thus, expensive) double-folding screens are these days.
