Clicks Communicator is a BlackBerry-inspired phone with a physical keyboard | Infinium-tech
Smartphone users nostalgic for the good old days of BlackBerry can now relive that experience with the Clix Communicator.
Clix, the brand behind the Clix keyboard for iPhone, announced new Communicator smartphones ahead of CES 2026. It features a touch-sensitive physical keyboard along with a 4.03-inch AMOLED display that offers 1080 x 1200-pixel resolution.

The smartphone runs Android 16 with a custom Niagara launcher, which only provides access to messaging and productivity apps like WhatsApp, Slack, Telegram, Gmail, etc.
There is also a notification light placed around a button on the right side which is being called signal light. Users can specify different colors and patterns for messages from different apps or contacts.

The button can be used to dictate messages via voice or for quick voice notes. As mentioned earlier, the physical keyboard is touch-sensitive and can be used to view messages, scroll web pages, and navigate around the interface.

The Clix Communicator sports a 50MP rear camera with OIS and an LED flash. There is a 24MP selfie camera on the front.

It comes with a 4,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with Qi2 wireless charging and a USB Type-C port. The phone also has a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual SIM with 5G connectivity, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and dual-band Wi-Fi 6. It offers 256GB of internal storage with support for expansion via microSD card.
The phone weighs 170 grams and is 12 mm thick. Other features include a physical kill switch on the frame, a customizable click key for shortcuts, and a 4nm MediaTek processor. The Communicator also supports swappable back covers, which are available in multiple color options.

The Clix Communicator will ship later this year and will cost $499. However, early adopters can reserve the phone now for $399. The phone will be available in Clover, Onyx and Smoke colors.
