Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro and Watch S4 are also official | Infinium-tech

The Xiaomi Smart Band 9 went official a few months ago, and today it has received a sibling: the Smart Band 9 Pro. Like previous Pro versions in Xiaomi’s best-selling wearables line, it has a larger, squarer screen than non-Pro smart bands.

The display of the Smart Band 9 Pro is 1.74″ in diameter, of course AMOLED, with 336×480 resolution and 1,200-nit peak brightness. The entire wearable measures 43.27 x 32.49 x 10.8 mm and weighs 24.5 grams due to the aluminum alloy body.

It is 5ATM water resistant, and has a 350 mAh battery that is rated for up to 21 days of use. It has Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC with GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS support. It is compatible with smartphones running Android 8 and above as well as iPhones running iOS 12 and above.

Like any device of its type, the Smart Band 9 Pro measures your heart rate, blood oxygen level, stress and also analyzes your sleep. There are over 150 sports modes to choose from, including advanced tracking for running and swimming.

The price of the Smart Band 9 Pro starts at CNY 399 ($56), while the magnetic quick release straps are priced at CNY 169 ($23) and the leather quick release straps are priced at CNY 99 ($13).

The Watch S4 features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with 466×466 resolution and 2,200-nit peak brightness and a user-swappable bezel. It also has 5ATM water resistance, as well as over 150 sports modes.

The watch comes in two versions, one of them with eSIM support. It measures 47.3 x 47.3 x 12 mm and weighs 44.5 grams. It has Bluetooth 5.3 and supports the same satellite positioning system and phone operating system as the Smart Band 9 Pro.

Like that product, this one also monitors your heart rate, blood oxygen level, and stress. The watch additionally has built-in running training courses and AI-powered route planning (whatever that means). Dual-mode walkie-talkie function and eSIM support allows listening to music and making calls without a phone.

You can reply to messages, send emojis, and control Xiaomi smart home devices directly from the watch. In China, you can also use it as an NFC car key. The price of Watch S4 starts at CNY 999 ($140).

This launch event was only for the Chinese market, so we don’t know yet when these devices will hit international markets, but we’ll let you know as soon as we know.
