Xiaomi Redmi 14R unveiled with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC and 120Hz screen | Infinium-tech
The Redmi 14C that was launched last month now gets an ‘R’ model as well. The Redmi 14R sports a 6.88″ 120Hz HD+ LCD display with a peak brightness of 600 nits and supports wet touch.
The Redmi 14C is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage that can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 14-based HyperOS.
For photography, you get a 13MP primary camera on the back, which is paired to an unknown unit, and a 5MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls. There is a 5,160 mAh battery with 18W charging support to keep the lights on.
Rest of the highlights of the Redmi 14R include a dedicated microSD card slot, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Redmi 14R comes in four colours and four memory options – 4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB, priced at CNY1,099 ($155/€140/INR12,995), CNY1,499 ($210/€190/INR17,725), CNY1,699 ($240/€215/INR20,090) and CNY1,899 ($265/€240/INR22,455) respectively. The smartphone will be sold in China via Xiaomi’s website, but its availability in other markets is unknown.
