Huawei is developing a triple-folding smartphone, but it is not the only company doing so. A tipster claims that Xiaomi is also in the advanced stages of developing such a product.
The source has a good track record, so even if he hasn’t provided any concrete proof, there are good reasons to believe him. He says the new device will be part of the Mix lineup and we’ll see the phone or at least a prototype during Mobile World Congress in February 2025.

However as we get closer to the holiday season, Xiaomi will certainly be tempted to tease such an exciting product.
Huawei’s tri-fold device will have a Z-shaped folding pattern and the company’s business group CEO has promised that it will arrive in September. It will most likely only be sold in China and even there it will be sold in limited quantities, which would be a sort of extended beta test.
