Xiaomi 17 and 15T series, SD 8 Elite Gen 5, Dimensity 9500 official, Week 39 in review | Infinium-tech

We had a very busy week in Tech! Summer is actually over, bring on technical announcements! Both MediaTek and Qualcomm unveiled their next -gene mobile chipset this week – Demistance 9500 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Jean 5. Snapdragon improves CPU performance with a 35% improvement in efficiency. In the GPU side, 23% better performance, 20% better power efficiency, and 25% better race tracing. The chipset has a 37% faster hexagon NPU and upgraded Qualcomm Sensing Hub, which unlocks agent AI assistants for individual experiences simultaneously.

We are already watching phones powered by the new Qualcomm SOC, both announced and upcoming – Xiaomi 17 series, Magic 8 Series of Honor, Realme’s GT8 Pro, etc.

Demistance 9500 uses the new generation ARM CPU core with the ‘All Big Core’ design. It uses a single arm C1-AULTRA core that is at four C1-PRO core for 4.21GHz, three C1-Premium cos and Octa-Core design. Let’s talk numbers-the-nine-core performance is up to 32%, multi-core 17% better. Ultra core in extreme performance is impressively 55% more efficient, while CPU efficiency is 30% better than 9400.

Graphics are 33% faster and 42% more efficient. The ninth generation NPU 990 33% faster with generic AI engine 2.0.

The upcoming Oppo Find X9 Pro and the Vivo X300 will adopt the 9500 dimtivity later this year.

It has been postponed by Qualcomm as “the world’s fastest mobile system-on-a-chip”.

Oppo and Vivo are expected to be seen at the end of the year.

Xiaomi unveiled three phones in the 17 series, and two more under the 15t monkey. It is not counting Xiaomi Pad 8, Pad 8 Pro, and Pad Mini. All three Xiaomi 17 units use the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Jean 5 chip.

Xiaomi 17 has a 6.3 -inch 120Hz ltpo amoled display, a triple camera – 23 mm f/1.7, 60 mm f/2.0, and 17 mm f/2.4 – and 7,000mAh battery with 100W charging. Both Xiaomi 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max have a secondary 120Hz Ltpo Amoled display, embedded in their respective camera islands. The 17 Pro has a 6.3-inch display up front and a 2.7-inch secondary display at the back. Its triple camera system is a 23 mm f/1.7, an 115 mm F/3.0 telephoto, and a 17 mm F/2.4 ultravide. The Pro has a 6,300mAh battery. 17 Pro Max has the same camera system, but a large 6.9-inch main display, a large 2.9-inch rear display, and the largest battery at 7,500mAh.

All three flagship phones will first be launched in China and are already available. Xiaomi is proceeding on 15T and 15T Pro. Bill as a flagship killer phone, both T series devices have 6.83 -inch AMOLED displays – Vanilla A120Hz Unit, Pro A144Hz one. The 15T has a dimension 8400 ultra chip, while the Pro has a dimension 9400+ one. Both phones have a 5,500mAh battery, but while the non-ex is charged through a cable at only 67W, adds the Pro 90W wired and 50W wireless options.

Finally, 15T has a triple camera with 50mp 23 mm wide-angle, 50mp 46 mm zoom and 12MP 15 mm ultravide. The 15T Pro packed a large sensor 50mp 23 mm wide camera, a 50mp 115 mm zoom camera and the same ultravide.

The rear is home to 2.7 “and 2.9” secondary screen, and triple 50MP cameras – which include 5x periscope.

It also brings four 50mp cameras, up to 16GB RAM and 100W charging.

From last year, 14t Duo had 6.67 “display and 5,000mAh battery. The new models upgrade to 5,500mAh. There are other reforms.

Vivo’s X300 series is coming to China on 13 October. There will be two phones – both X300 and X300 Pro are both running the new demons 9500. Both phones will use Vivo’s latest Android 16 -based Originos 6, which is coming on 10 October. The X300 Pro will have a 24 mm F/1.6 main camera, and whether the 85 mm F/2.7 is similar to the zoom camera.

Oppo is characterized by Find X9 series, Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, coming with Kalros 16 and New Demistance 9500SOC on 16 October. Expect huge battery and powerful camera hardware. But even more importantly, the series will be launched globally, as confirmed by Oppo CPO Pete Lau!

Vivo will also unveil a new tablet, a pair of TWS earphones and a smartwatch with the X300 series.
