Xiaomi 15 Ultra details leak, battery size won’t impress | Infinium-tech
Xiaomi’s 15 Ultra is coming soon, probably in February like its predecessor or in January as some rumors are saying. Today Digital Chat Station has shared some more details on Weibo about Xiaomi’s upcoming top-end device in a since-deleted post.
The 15 Ultra will reportedly have roughly the same screen size as the 14 Ultra, with smaller curves all around and the same resolution. So, expect a 6.73-inch panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,440×3,200 resolution.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra renders leaked
There will be a 1-inch type main camera on the back with an f/1.63 aperture, and there is no mention of variable aperture, so it may be missing. Next, a 50 MP short-range zoom telephoto (probably 2x), and a 200 MP perhaps 4.3x periscope telephoto.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will also have IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance and wireless charging, but if you were hoping for a bigger battery then it’s apparently time to think again. Rumor has it that cell capacity will be between 5,450 mAh and 5,800 mAh, so not quite in the 6,000 mAh space that some competitors are playing in, but that’s all related to how much space the 15 Ultra’s cameras demand ( And Xiaomi doesn’t want to make a phone that’s too thick).
